State University of Bangladesh announces admission festival 2025

The State University of Bangladesh (SUB) is pleased to announce its much-anticipated "Admission Festival 2025," which will be held at its permanent campus from May 5 to May 10, 2025.

This six-day event welcomes prospective students and their guardians to explore SUB's vibrant academic atmosphere and learn more about its diverse educational offerings.

During the festival, students will have the opportunity to enjoy a range of exclusive benefits. These include department-wise additional admission waivers ranging from 10% to 35% and merit-based waivers of 5% to 75% based on academic performance. Underprivileged and meritorious students will also be eligible for up to 100% scholarships. Furthermore, students who complete their admission during the festival will receive guaranteed instant cashback between ৳1,000 and ৳10,000. To ensure convenient access to the campus, the university will provide a free round-trip transportation service between Kuril and the SUB permanent campus throughout the event.

The Admission Festival 2025 is designed to help students make informed decisions about their future by connecting them directly with university counsellors, faculty members, and admission officers. Visitors will get a firsthand experience of the academic environment and facilities at the SUB permanent campus.

Speaking about the occasion, the Honourable Vice Chancellor of the State University of Bangladesh, Professor Dr Akhtar Hossain Khan, stated: "The SUB Admission Festival 2025 is a significant initiative for us. We want every talented student across the country to visit our permanent campus and experience firsthand the academic environment, quality of education, and available facilities. Through this festival, we aim to make higher education more accessible, affordable, and focused on academic excellence."

Prospective students from all academic backgrounds are encouraged to attend and take full advantage of the various scholarship and waiver opportunities available during the festival.
