Daffodil and Duke of Edinburgh Foundation partner to empower youth through MoU

Daffodil Education Network (DEN) and The Duke of Edinburgh's Award Foundation Bangladesh (DEA-BD) signed an agreement on 29 April 2025.
Mr Rizwan Bin Farouq, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, The Duke of Edinburgh's Award Foundation Bangladesh, and Dr Mohammad Nuruzzaman, CEO of the Daffodil family, signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on behalf of their respective organisations.
Through this Mou, five polytechnic institutes under Daffodil Education Network will officially begin offering their students the Duke of Edinburgh's International Award program.
The Award, a globally recognised non-formal education program active in over 130 countries, offers young people aged 14–24 the chance to develop essential life skills, discover their hidden talents, and grow into confident and responsible individuals through voluntary service, physical recreation, skill-building, and adventurous journeys.
During the event, the distinguished guests provided an overview of the Award's structure and long-term impact on personal and professional development. Students from all five polytechnic institutions were present and actively participated in a Q&A session to learn more about the activities and opportunities under the programme.
