Money launderers are like the devil, no mercy for them: ACC commissioner
"It is very difficult to catch the launderers. They are like the devil. The devil stays in the veins and the arteries. The devil cannot be seen, but people suffer from the devil's activities," he said

Money launderers are like the devil, and the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) will show no mercy to them, ACC Commissioner Mia Mohammad Ali Akbar Azizi said today (23 April).
"We will not remain silent against money launderers knowingly. It is very difficult to catch the launderers. They are like the devil. The devil stays in the veins and the arteries. The devil cannot be seen, but people suffer from the devil's activities," he said in response to a question from journalists at the ACC office this afternoon.
He said, "We are suffering because of money launderers. If we can catch the launderers in any way... we will not spare them," he added.
Stating that the ACC's surveillance has been further strengthened, he said, "We are bringing skilled officers from different districts to the headquarters, and we are sending those whose work we have seen to be slow to the mufassils.
"This process of the ACC will continue, and we will not give up if we smell any corruption among the ACC staff."
He further said the state has adopted a zero-tolerance policy on corruption. "We also have zero tolerance. Especially against corruption."
