vivo V50 Lite launched in Bangladesh with Tahsan at grand event

vivo has officially unveiled its latest smartphone, the vivo V50 Lite, in a dazzling launch event in Dhaka, graced by popular celebrity Tahsan Rahman Khan, the brand ambassador.

The new device blends an ultra-slim form factor with a powerful 6,500 mAh BlueVolt battery — delivering both style and substance for users who expect more from their smartphones, reads a press release.

The V50 Lite offers the best of both worlds: top-tier performance in a sleek and comfortable build. Measuring just 7.79mm thick and weighing only 196g, the phone manages to fit in a high-capacity battery without compromising on aesthetics.

Wrapped in a high-gloss finished metal frame, it features ultra-narrow bezels framing a vibrant 6.77-inch FHD+ 2.5D P-OLED display for an immersive viewing experience.

Available in two stylish color options — Titanium Gold, inspired by desert twilight, and Phantom Black, evoking a sleek and mysterious aura — the V50 Lite is as much about design as it is about performance. Its Ultra Clear Sunlight Display supports up to 1,800 nits brightness and a 120Hz refresh rate, making everything from scrolling to streaming smooth and easy on the eyes. It's also SGS-certified for low blue light, reducing strain during extended use.

Power users will appreciate the 90W FlashCharge capability, delivering hours of power from just a few minutes of charging. With reverse charging functionality and the ability to retain over 80% of its battery health even after five years, the V50 Lite is built for lasting convenience.

Durability is another key feature, with military-grade protection, 5-star drop resistance, and Shield Glass that offers 20% more impact resistance. It also comes with IP65 certification for water and dust resistance. Under the hood, the phone runs on the Snapdragon 685 processor, ensuring a smooth, responsive experience across apps, games, and multitasking.

Photography enthusiasts will enjoy the 50MP Sony IMX882 main sensor with Aura Light Portrait for studio-quality portraits, even in low light. The 32MP front camera ensures crisp and flattering selfies every time.

Speaking at the event, David Lee, marketing director of vivo Bangladesh, said, "It is truly exciting to witness the incredible energy and passion for innovation in Bangladesh. At vivo, we always aim to deliver premium technology and elegant design at a price that makes sense for our users. The V50 Lite is a perfect example of that balance – packed with powerful features, stunning design, and a camera experience that brings your creativity to life – slimmer but stronger."

The vivo V50 Lite will be available in two configurations in Bangladesh. The variant with 8GB RAM (plus an additional 8GB extended RAM) and 128GB storage is priced at Tk29,999, while the 256GB storage variant with the same RAM setup will retail at Tk32,999. The phone will be available in stores nationwide very soon.
