Fire incidents decline in 2024, losses drop by nearly 44%

The number of reported fire incidents in 2024 fell to 26,659, marking a 3.5% decline from the previous year's figure of 27,624. More significantly, fire-related damages saw a staggering 43.7% reduction, dropping to Tk 446.28 crore from Tk 792.37 crore in 2023.
