The government has cancelled the leave of officials concerned at 12 upazilas under the district till the end of paddy harvesting.

The officials are upazila nirbahi officers (UNO), upazila assistant commissioners (land), agriculture officials and employees of the district and upazila levels and officers of the Water Development Board.

Sunamganj Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Elias Miah today (15 April) announced it at a press briefing at its conference room.

Among others, Executive Engineer of the Water Development Board Mamun Hawladar and Deputy Director of the Department of Agricultural Extension Mostafa Iqbal Azad were present on the occasion.
