Investment summit a milestone for Bangladesh’s economy: Jamaat
If this environment persists, foreign investors will flock to the country, the party says

Jamaat-e-Islami has hailed the Bangladesh Investment Summit 2025, which concluded today in the capital with strong participation from both local and foreign investors, as a milestone for the country's socioeconomic growth.
Speaking at a press conference at a hotel in the capital, Md Mobarak Hossain, executive committee member of Jamaat-e-Islami, expressed his admiration for the speech delivered by the executive chairman of the Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (Bida), noting how it successfully attracted global investors by assuring them of profitable opportunities in a business-friendly environment.
He said that his party has consistently advocated for a discrimination-free, robust economy. Jamaat had a stall at the summit, where representatives managed to draw considerable attention from global investors.
"We believe that a favourable business climate has been established in Bangladesh, and we hope foreign investors now recognise this potential," he added.
The Jamaat leader further stated that with continued efforts, Bangladesh could rise into the ranks of the world's top 20 economies.
He added, "If this environment persists, foreign investors will flock to the country, and new, large-scale business sectors will emerge."
