Fire at home adviser’s residential building under control

A fire that broke out at the fifth floor of a building owned by Home Affairs Adviser Lt Gen (retd) Md Jahangir Alam Chowdhury at Baridhara DOHS in the capital was brought under control.
According to fire service officials, the fire broke out at the kitchen of the flat rented to Clothing Partner Buying House around 6:30pm today (13 March).
The fire fighter brough the flames under control within 15 minutes.

However, no casualties were reported from the fire.
Adviser Jahangir Alam resides on the second floor of the building, said fire service officials.
