New schedule for 10 intercity trains from Chattogram in effect

The schedule for 10 intercity trains, including Subarna Express and Sonar Bangla Express, has been revised and is now effective from today (10 March). 

Eastern Zone Railway's Chief Operating Superintendent (COPS) Md Shahidul Islam confirmed the matter.

Under the new schedule, the Dhaka-bound Subarna Express will depart from Chattogram at 7:00 am, while the return journey from Dhaka to Chattogram will commence at 4:30 pm. The Meghna Express, heading to Chandpur, will leave Chattogram at 5:15 pm, and the return journey from Chandpur to Chattogram will remain at 5:00 am as per the previous schedule.

The Agnibina Express will now depart from Tarakandi, Jamalpur, to Dhaka at 5:30 pm, while the Bijoy Express will leave Jamalpur for Chattogram at 8:00 pm. The Cox's Bazar Express will start its journey from Cox's Bazar to Dhaka at 12:30 pm, and the Parjatak Express will depart at 7:45 pm.

Additionally, the Parabat Express from Sylhet to Dhaka will leave at 4:00 pm, and the Sonar Bangla Express from Chattogram to Dhaka will depart at 5:00 pm, while the return journey from Dhaka to Chattogram will commence at 7:00 pm. The Jamalpur Express, heading to Bhuyapur, Tangail, will now leave Dhaka at 5:15 pm instead of 4:30 pm. The Dhaka-bound Cox's Bazar Express will leave at 11:00 pm.

The Chattala Express from Dhaka to Chattogram will depart at 2:15 pm, while the return trip from Chattogram to Dhaka will begin at 6:00 am. The Probal Express from Cox's Bazar to Chattogram will leave at 10:20 am, and the Saikat Express will depart for Chattogram at 8:00 pm.

Other significant changes include the Mahanagar Godhuli, which will leave Chattogram for Dhaka at 3:00 pm, while the Turna Nishitha will depart for Dhaka at 11:30 pm. The Mahanagar Express will leave for Dhaka at 12:30 pm. The Sylhet-bound Paharika Express will depart at 7:50 am, while the Udayan Express will leave at 9:45 pm. The Mahanagar Provati from Dhaka to Chattogram will now depart at 7:45 am.
