Protesters demand dissolution of Student Movement's Rajshahi committee within 24 hours
They said if a decision is not taken quickly on this issue, they will launch a tougher movement

A group of students held a protest rally in Rajshahi today (16 February) demanding dissolution of the Anti-discrimination Student Movement's recently announced district and metropolitan committee within 24 hours.
The rally took place at around 12pm at the city's Talaimari intersection, blocking the road for about half an hour.
The Rajshahi district and metropolitan convening committee of the Student Movement was announced for a period of six months on 30 January.
The protesters said students who participated in the July uprising were not included in the committee.
They also claimed that a group with vested interest has formed the "farcical" pocket committee with some infiltrators who benefited after 5 August and some allies of the Awami League.
The students said if a decision is not taken quickly on this issue, they will launch a tougher movement.
