Dhaka Metro Rail has achieved a new milestone by transporting a record 403,164 passengers in a single day, according to Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL).

In a post on its verified Facebook page on Friday (14 February), DMTCL said that this was the highest number of passengers the trains carried in a single day - on Thursday (13 February) - since the inauguration of the metro rail service in Dhaka.

Expressing gratitude for the support, DMTCL extended thanks to passengers, well-wishers, and stakeholders.
