Billie Eilish’s Birds of a Feather beats Sabrina Carpenter’s Espresso to most streamed song of 2024

As announced on 2 January, Billie Eilish's 'Birds of a Feather' ends 2024 as Spotify's most-streamed song, surpassing 1.781 billion streams. The track, from her 'Hit Me Hard and Soft' album, climbed to the top spot in the final weeks of the year, dethroning Sabrina Carpenter's "Espresso" (1.778 billion streams).

Released just eight months ago, the soaring ballad hit No 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and earned a haunting music video in September. Eilish also delivered a standout performance of the song on 'Saturday Night Live.'

The Grammy winner wrapped the North American leg of her tour in December after five sold-out nights in Los Angeles. She'll resume touring in February with shows in Australia and Europe.
