EPL accessories to set up manufacturing unit in BEPZA EZ

The Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA) has signed a lease agreement with EPL (Export Link) Accessories Limited, a Bangladeshi company, to establish an accessories manufacturing industry in the BEPZA Economic Zone (EZ).

The company plans to invest US$ 8 million in the project, creating employment opportunities for 610 Bangladeshi nationals.

The agreement was signed today (January 1, 2025),  by Member (Investment Promotion) of BEPZA, Mr  Ashraful Kabir, and Managing Director of EPL (Export Link) Accessories Limited Mr Kazi Monowar Hossain, in the presence of BEPZA Executive Chairman, Major General Abul Kalam Mohammad Ziaur Rahman, BSP, ndc, psc.

The company will produce a range of accessories, including Foam, Carton, Ploy, Gum Tape, etc. Additionally, it will have the capacity for foam and fabric lamination, screen printing, and embroidery.

BEPZA Executive Chairman thanked EPL (Export Link) Accessories Limited for investing in the BEPZA EZ and assured the company of providing all necessary support for smooth business operations.

The signing ceremony was attended by senior BEPZA officials, including Member (Engineering) Md. Imtiaz Hossain, Member (Finance) A N M Foyzul Haque, Executive Director (Investment Promotion) Md. Tanvir Hossain, Executive Director (Enterprise Services) Md. Khorshid Alam, Project Director of BEPZA EZ Mohammad Anamul Haque, Executive Director (Public Relations) A.S.M Anwar Parvez and representatives of EPL (Export Link) Accessories Limited.
