BAIUST invites applications from dynamic, qualified, and committed individuals for the position of Lecturer in the Department of Law. The selected candidate will be expected to demonstrate excellence in teaching, research, academic leadership, and service to both the university and the wider academic community.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate courses to meet curricular needs, with emphasis on fundamental education in all areas of law.
- Ensure that teaching content is informed by current research.
- Collaborate with colleagues for continuous review and development of departmental programmes.
- Undertake assessment of students' work in line with university policies.
- Contribute to research through high-quality publications.
- Perform departmental roles and functions as required.
- Carry out any other duties assigned by the university authority.
Academic Qualifications and Requirements
Essential
- LLB (Honours) with LLM from a recognised and reputed university.
- At least three First Class/Division/A Grades (not below CGPA 3.5 at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels).
Additional Requirements

Preference will be given to experienced candidates.
Salary and Benefits
- Salary: As per University Policy (Lecturer–Grade 9).
- Other benefits: Gratuity and Provident Fund in accordance with university policy.
