Role Overview
The Head of Business Development & Resource Mobilisation will lead the organisation's efforts in resource mobilisation and new business growth. The incumbent will be responsible for building strategic partnerships, cultivating donor relationships, and ensuring competitive positioning within the development and humanitarian sectors.
Key responsibilities include pipeline management, capture planning, and the submission of high-quality proposals aligned with the Country Strategy 2030. The Head will provide leadership to a team of specialists, ensure compliance with grants, and embed strategic thinking and process improvement across business development functions.
Requirements
- Master's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 10–12 years of experience in the development, humanitarian, or private sector, of which 8–10 years must be in business development.
- Proven record of securing and managing multi-million-dollar funding from institutional donors.
- Strong diplomatic, coordination, and negotiation skills with diverse stakeholders.
- Advanced donor-facing communication and presentation skills.
- Experience in synthesising market intelligence and providing innovative funding solutions.
- Strong leadership experience in managing multicultural teams.
- Proficiency in English, with excellent writing, editing, budget development, and communication skills.

Employment Details
- Contract: Two years, with the possibility of extension subject to performance and funding.
- Location: Bangladesh.
- Eligibility: Only Bangladeshi citizens may apply.
- Salary: BDT 287,183 – 358,979 per month (CTC), along with other benefits including hospitalisation cover for spouse and children, contributory provident fund, gratuity, festival bonuses, group insurance, annual medical check-up, leave entitlements, and day care facilities.
