Job Responsibilities:
- Introduce PR software and integrate with existing ERP to record all PR activities in secure server, use PR tools for campaign automation and monitor advanced report;
- Develop and implement comprehensive public relations strategies aligned with the university's mission, vision, and strategic goals.
- Oversee and maintain the university's brand identity across all platforms and communications to promote a positive image of the university to internal and external stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local, national, and international media outlets and serve as the official spokesperson or prepare spokespeople for interviews, press briefings, and media appearances and represent the BoT;
- Draft, review, and distribute press releases, media kits, and statements on university activities, achievements, and events.
- Lead the development and execution of crisis communication plans, and take full responsibility;
- Coordinate effective internal communication strategies to keep faculty, staff, and students informed.
- Oversee the university's digital presence, including official websites and social media platforms.
- Ensure timely and accurate dissemination of news, achievements, events, and campaigns online on website and social media and offline as well;
- Collaborate with relevant departments to plan and promote major university events (e.g., convocations, seminars, public lectures, press conferences) and promote academic programs;
- Publish quarterly or semester-wise magazine in print and pdf forms (offline and online);
- Ensure consistency, quality, and alignment with the university's tone and messaging and monitor media coverage and public sentiment related to the university;
- Analyze PR campaign effectiveness and prepare periodic analytics & performance reports for senior management.

- At least 10 years

Additional Requirements
Educational and skills requirements: A graduate or Master's degree in Public Relations/ Journalism/ Mass Communication/ Media Studies or a related field. Foreign Degree and experience will be given preference. Technical knowledge on digital transformation will be given preference. Both English and Bangla writing and speaking skills are necessary.
Experience requirement: At least 10-15 years of experience in a similar position in the Public Relations department of any organization preferably at any private university.
Salary: As per the Uttara University policy. An attractive compensation package will be offered to the deserving candidate.
