Job Responsibilities:
- Introduce HRIS tools and software to manage entire employee life cycle;
- Provide leadership in fostering a positive and productive academic and work environment.
- Advise senior management on faculty and HR matters, including organizational development, succession planning, and workforce planning.
- Oversee faculty, appointment, promotion, tenure, and evaluation processes.
- Ensure compliance with academic policies and accreditation requirements;
- Maintain up-to-date records and database of faculty and staff;
- Coordinate faculty onboarding, mentoring programs, and retention initiatives.
- Supervise recruitment and orientation of all academic and non-academic staff.
- Oversee performance appraisal systems and employee relations, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
- Coordinate training, workshops, and development programs for staff enhancement every semester;
- Ensure timely processing of payroll;
- Manage employee welfare schemes, insurance, and other related services as instructed by BoT;
- Prepare and present periodic reports on faculty development and staff performance;
- Use data analytics to drive improvements in HR;
- Liaise with accrediting agencies, government departments, and professional bodies as required.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by the university authority.
Requirements
Experience
- At least 10 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): University, Multinational Companies
Additional Requirements
Educational requirements: Master's degree in Business Administration with HRM major, or Masters in Public Administration or a related field. Foreign degree and good English skills will be given preference;
Experience requirement: At least 10-15 years of experience in a similar position in the HR department of any organization, MNC or at any private university.
Salary: As per the Uttara University policy. An attractive compensation package will be offered to the deserving candidate.
