Job Context
United Delcot Water Ltd, a joint venture between Jiangsu United Water Technology Co., Ltd. and Delcot Water Ltd., is overseeing the first water supply PPP project in the Purbachal New Town area. The company is looking for an experienced, qualified, honest, and trustworthy DGM who will oversee project construction and operation activities.
The DGM will be responsible for ensuring compliance with technical requirements, managing subcontractors, and effectively coordinating with various stakeholders—including RAJUK and other relevant government and statutory authorities—to ensure smooth progress and successful delivery of the project. Strong leadership, technical expertise, and a proven ability to liaise with government bodies are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor the progress of construction and operation activities and prepare regular progress reports for higher management
- Address any issues that arise during the construction and operation process, ensuring they are resolved promptly and effectively
- Implement and maintain quality management, environmental management, and health and safety management systems during the construction and operation period
- Manage conflicts and challenges arising among resources, departments, and work processes
- Assist and support the Division Manager in daily management work
- Liaise with stakeholders, including the Contracting Authority, Independent Engineer, and other relevant parties, to ensure smooth project execution
- Coordinate between the field and desk teams to ensure construction activities align with specifications and deliverables
- Ensure that all construction materials and equipment meet the required quality standards

Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering
- Professional Certification in Project Management/Construction Management (preferred)
- Skills Required: Operation and maintenance, project management, construction engineering, quality control management
Experience Requirements
- 20 to 25 years
- Applicants should have experience in the following business areas: multinational companies, engineering firms, real estate
Additional Requirements
- Age: 47 to 54 years
