Job Responsibilities:
The Coordinator will work under the SAJIDA Mental Health Programme, which is designed to promote and protect the psychological health and well-being of vulnerable and marginalised communities in Sajida's field operation areas.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Develop training materials in both Bangla and English based on current global context and new academic findings.
- Conduct mental health-specific trainings for populations of all strata, especially low economic status groups, as needed.
- Develop new and effective Mental Health capacity-building activities for para-counsellors.
- Assist in the development of various project protocols.
- Conduct supervision sessions for para-counsellors.
- Coordinate and sustain working relationships with stakeholders.
- Assist and monitor activities of field staff.
- Track project execution by ensuring timely and adequate reporting, providing clear progress reports.
- Monitor project progress, identify improvement opportunities, and assist with revision of work plans; advise the Project Manager on possible adjustments to meet project objectives.
- Oversee all logistics and administrative aspects of the programme.
- Assist the Programme Head in identifying, mitigating, and managing project risks.
- Support the Programme Head in other relevant project activities, including project planning, finance management, report writing, and expense reconciliation.
- Support the Programme Head in the development, maintenance, and strengthening of key strategic partnerships with SAJIDA Foundation internal teams and other potential donors.
- Perform any other duties assigned by upper management as required.
- Conduct regular field visits to pilot sites to develop contextual knowledge, build relationships with field teams, and provide necessary support.
Educational Requirements:

Ms. in Clinical Psychology & Counseling Psychology
Experience Requirements:
- 5 years and above in the relevant field of psychology or related services (project management experience is a bonus).
- Well-developed oral and written communication skills to maintain professional and efficient relationships with stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal skills to connect with others and develop rapport.
- Compassion, empathy, and patience.
- Ability to explain, encourage, and build confidence.
- Observation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to think creatively and work under pressure.
- Strong organisational skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
