Position: In-Charge, Islamic Banking Window (PO–SPO)
Responsibilities
- Manage, supervise, and monitor the overall Islamic Banking Business of the Islamic Banking Window.
- Ensure all banking services comply with regulatory requirements and the Bank's guidelines.
- Liaise with Head Office, clients, and relevant authorities to ensure smooth operations.
- Adhere strictly to Islamic banking guidelines issued by Bangladesh Bank and the Shariah Supervisory Committee.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate, SME, and retail clients to expand the Islamic banking portfolio.
- Ensure accurate and timely regulatory reporting.
- Develop and conduct training for officers on Islamic banking principles and practices.
- Achieve KPIs related to deposits, investment, and profitability of the Islamic Banking Window.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned by management.
Education requirements
- Master's degree, preferably MBA, from a recognised university.
- Diploma in Islamic Banking and professional degrees such as CIPA, CSAA will be considered an advantage.
Experience requirements
- SPO level: Minimum 8–10 years of banking experience with exposure in Islamic banking, including at least 3 years in investment banking.
- PO level: Minimum 6–7 years of banking experience with exposure in Islamic banking, including at least 1 year in investment banking.
Additional requirements
- Age: 35–45 years (may be relaxed for highly experienced and deserving candidates).
