India-Bangladesh passenger train services between Kolkata and two cities of Bangladesh have been suspended from March 15 to April 15 or till further notice to contain the spread of COVID-19.

Services of Maitree, which connects Kolkata with Dhaka, and Bandhan Express trains, runs between Kolkata and Khulna, will remain suspended on a Union government's directive, an Eastern Railway official said, The Hindu reported.
