The mass shooting in El Paso, Texas, on Saturday, that left at least 20 people dead and 26 injured appears to be the deadliest shooting, making it one of the ten worsts in modern American history.

A 21-year old white male, a resident of Dallas-area city of Allen, about 650 miles (1,046km) east of El Paso, was taken into custody after surrendering to officers.
El Paso Walmart rampage on Saturday marked another grim milestone of 250th mass shooting in the first 215 days of 2019.

Although mass shooting does not have an official definition, the various groups and watchdog organizations including FBI defines a mass shooting as an incident in which four or more people, not including the suspect, are killed. But in 2013, a congressional act defined "mass killing" as "three of more killings in a single incident," and labeled mass shooting as a type of mass killing.
