World’s top shipbreaking destinations 2024

In 2024, 409 ocean-going vessels were scrapped with 255 dismantled in Bangladesh, India, and Pakistan making up over 80% of global tonnage. However, the number of ships dismantled in Bangladesh fell by 23.5% compared to the previous year.
