Global solar power generation reached a record high of 2,778 TWh in 2025, marking a 30% increase from 2,143 TWh in the previous year. Total global power generation reached 31,772 TWh in 2025, with solar power accounting for 8.75% of the total.

Note: TWh stands for Terawatt-hours
