Chinese banks continue to assert their dominance in the global financial landscape, with 21 institutions securing spots on S&P Global Market Intelligence's latest ranking of the world's 100 largest banks by assets. This strong showing, largely driven by strategic mergers and acquisitions (M&A), occurred despite ongoing trade tensions and a prolonged real estate downturn, highlighting the sector's enduring strength.
