Global Aid sees record fall in 2025

Official Development Assistance (ODA) by Development Assistance Committee members and associates fell 23.1% in real terms to $174.3 billion in 2025, with Germany, the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan and France driving 95.7% of the decline. As the US alone accounted for three-quarters of the drop, Germany became the largest DAC donor for the first time in history.
