Tangia Zaman Methila who clinched the title of Miss Universe Bangladesh 2020 will not be able to participate at the prestigious Miss Universe 2020.

According to an official statement by Miss Universe Bangladesh, the model will not be able to represent the country at the 69th Miss Universe pageant in the USA this May, reports Somoy TV.

The organisers stated, "Due to lockdown and travel restrictions we could not finalize the preparations. So we will not be able to participate Miss Universe 2020."
