Russell Crowe has confirmed that he is playing the Greek god Zeus in the forthcoming Thor: Love & Thunder. The Oscar-winning star revealed the role as he appeared on JOY 94.9, a Melbourne-based LGBTQA+ radio station.
Marvel Studios is currently filming the fourth installment of Chris Hemsworth's Thor franchise in Australia. The upcoming blockbuster directed by Taika Waititi features one of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's biggest casts for a standalone movie to date.
Zeus appearing in Thor: Love and Thunder could be a big deal and an excellent role for Crowe to play with suggestions that Zeus' introduction could lead to similar appearances for characters like Ares and Hercules.
