Rehana Maryam Noor to premiere at London film festival 2021
'Rehana Maryam Noor', the film directed by Abdullah Mohammad Saad, has been selected for the Debate section of the BFI London Film Festival 2021

Actor Azmeri Haque Badhon shared the news on her Instagram account on Friday and revealed that the film "is considered as one of the riveting films that amplify, scrutinize and surprise."
The two-week-long BFI London film festival is due to run from 6 October-17 October.
The prestigious annual film festival was founded in 1957. It screens more than 300 films, documentaries, and shorts from around 50 countries every year.
RMN was the first Bangladeshi feature film to feature in the "Un Certain Regard" section of the 74th Cannes Film Festival. The film received a standing ovation in Cannes.
It depicts the struggle of a single mother, Rehana, who fights to gain justice for a medical student who has been sexually assaulted by a male professor. The film is viewed to be vocal against a patriarchal society.

In 2021, Azmeri Haque Badhon becomes the only South Asian actress to attend the Cannes film festival.
