Music composer Alauddin Ali put under life-support

The singer will be under close observation for the next 24 hours.

Veteran lyricist and music composer Alauddin Ali have been put under life-support.

Alauddin Ali's family admitted him to Universal Medical College Hospital in Mohakhali around 5 am when his health condition started to deteriorate.

The doctors notified the singer is having breathing problems and his oxygen level is significantly low. Currently, his condition is not stable. The singer will be under close observation for the next 24 hours.

Alauddin Ali was previously diagnosed with a tumor in 2015. As a result, he has been receiving treatment in Bangkok as well. His respiratory problems have been prevalent for a while.

During his formative years, the much-acclaimed composer was an associate of the legendary Altaf Mahmud. Alauddin Ali is also a National Film Award winner. His daughter Alif Alauddin is a musician/host and son-in-law Kazi Faisal Ahmed is the lead guitarist of Artcell.
