Veteran singer Lata Mangeshkar has donated Rs 7 lakh to the Maharashtra Chief Minister's Relief Fund for Covid-19.

A statement issued by the Maharashtra Chief Minister's Office stated that the Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has thanked the legendary singer for her gesture, reports Indian Express.

He has also urged citizens to contribute towards the state government's relief measures.
