James Gunn wraps up filming 'The Suicide Squad'

'The Suicide Squad,' directed by James Gunn, has wrapped up filming. The upcoming DC movie is set to hit theaters on August 6, 2021.

James Gunn was given free reign to write and direct 'The Suicide Squad,' after he was briefly fired from "Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 3." Gunn's provocative tweets from the past resurfaced, which made Disney remove him from the franchise he started.

James Gunn has nothing but gratitude for his cast and crew of 'The Suicide Squad' saying, "the most fulfilling time I've ever had making a movie."
