This year, 202 films were submitted from 41 countries compared to last year’s submission of 95 films from 34 countries.

DIMFF 2020 ends with ‘The Conundrum’ as the winning film

The curtains of the Dhaka International Mobile Film Festival (DIMFF) fell yesterday at a closing ceremony held in the capital's Shimanto Shambhar in Dhanmondi.

The film "The Conundrum" won the Cinemascope best film award.

Other films nominated in this category are – Distortion, Nostalgia, Sealed Deal, and Alive and Lily.

The film "All Winner" won in the "ULAB Young filmmaker" category.

The main highlight of this year's DIMFF is the One-minute film category where students from class 1 to class 12 have participated as filmmakers.Filmmaker Kamar Ahmad Simon was the special guest and Professor Gitiara Nasreen was the chief guest at the closing ceremony of DIMFF 2020.

This year, 202 films were submitted from 41 countries compared to last year's submission of 95 films from 34 countries.

DIMFF encourages filmmakers to make films on mobile phones, with the slogan "New generation, new tool, new communication."

DIMFF 2020 is organized by Cinemascope, a film apprenticeship program of University of Liberal Arts, Bangladesh.
