AR Rahman impressed with visually-impaired girl playing double keyboard

Music maestro AR Rahman retweeted a video of a young girl playing the Thumbi Thullal track from movie Cobra on a double keyboard.

The outstanding cover was from Sahana Niren a visually impaired girl who performed the AR Rahman song.

AR Rahman retweeted the video captioning it 'sweet.'

Reacting to Rahman's tweet, Shahana's mother from her child's account said, "Thank u so much @arrahman sir. This is the day we are waiting for atlast it had happened today.This single word is enough for her sir we are speechless.Thanks toGod for this wonderful opportunity. Mydaughter is very proud to say she is a student of @KMMC_Chennai Ella pugazhum iraivanukae"

Sahana's video has gone viral with over four lakh views, and the internet is in awe of her skills. Rahman's post for Sahana has also garnered over 24,000 likes and 3,000 retweets.

After listening to her rendition of the song, Lalit Kumar, a producer of Cobra gifted her an audio studio recorder.

Sahana holds record for Asia Book of Records and India Book of Records and was a runner up in Season 2 of the hit reality show Saregama.
