Jaishankar, Bangladesh envoy discuss strengthening Dhaka-Delhi ties
Earlier in the morning, Bangladesh’s high commissioner to India, M Riaz Hamidullah paid a courtesy visit to Jaishankar at the Indian Ministry of External Affairs.
Indian External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar today (20 March) discussed advancing Dhaka-Delhi relations with Bangladesh's high commissioner to India, M Riaz Hamidullah.
The information was shared by both Jaishankar and Hamidullah in posts on their X accounts, reports Prothom Alo.
Earlier in the morning, Hamidullah paid a courtesy visit to Jaishankar at the Indian Ministry of External Affairs.
In his X post, Jaishankar wrote, "Met with Bangladesh's High Commissioner M Riaz Hamidullah. Our conversation was focused on advancing our bilateral ties."
Bangladesh's High Commissioner M Riaz Hamidullah wrote in his post, "Privileged to pay a courtesy call on India's External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar. I assured him that Bangladesh is ready to work together with India for our common interests and mutual benefits."
