In a statement issued today (13 November), the EU said it welcomes the leadership of Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus in preparing the ground for participatory, free, and fair national elections, scheduled for February next year.
It also encouraged all political parties in Bangladesh to engage constructively in the next steps of the electoral process.
