Bangladesh condemns Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia
Dhaka expressed solidarity with Saudi Arabia and reaffirmed its support for the kingdom’s sovereignty, territorial integrity and security.
Bangladesh has strongly condemned the Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia that injured at least 73 people, the Foreign Ministry said today (8 September).
In a press release, the ministry said Bangladesh firmly rejects all acts of violence against civilians and civilian infrastructure.
"Bangladesh expresses its full solidarity with the Government and the brotherly people of the Kingdom," it said.

Dhaka also reaffirmed its "unwavering support" for the sovereignty, territorial integrity and security of Saudi Arabia.
Earlier in the day, the attacks targeted several cities in southern Saudi Arabia, including Abha, Khamis Mushait, Jazan and Najran, according to the Saudi-led coalition fighting in Yemen, reports Reuters.
Fires also broke out at several energy facilities, forcing some operations to be halted temporarily, Saudi authorities said.
The coalition described the latest escalation as "dangerous" and vowed to take measures to deter the Houthis.
The Iran-aligned Houthis control Yemen's most populous areas and much of the north. They have been launching attacks towards Saudi Arabia since declaring a naval blockade against the kingdom in July, including strikes targeting vessels in the Red Sea.
