When selecting a laptop bag, consider the material, quality of zippers and closures, and the availability of compartments to organise your laptop and accessories.

Tips for taking care of your bags:

  1. Avoid hanging your bag on hooks or doorknobs, as it can strain the material. Instead, store it upright on a shelf.
  2. Zip or fasten your bag before storing to maintain its shape. Consider stuffing it with rolled clothes or newspapers to help it keep its form.
  3. Provide proper ventilation for leather bags by storing them on a shelf. If not, periodically take them out to prevent deterioration.
  4. Keep your bags away from direct sunlight to prevent discoloration. Store them in a location without direct exposure to sunlight. Consider using cotton dust bags for added protection from both sunlight and dust.
  5. Ensure your bags stay clean by regularly removing dirt and stains. For cotton and nylon bags, wash them with mild soap and air-dry them. Avoid excessive washing or scrubbing, as it can damage the material and colour.
  6. For leather bags, gently wipe them with a mixture of lukewarm water and dish soap. Remove the soap with a damp cloth and then dry the bag with a towel. Allow it to air-dry for a few hours before storage.
