In photos: Leaders, activists of labour organisations pay tribute after 12 years of Rana Plaza collapse
Today (24 April) marks 12 years since the Rana Plaza collapse. On 24 April 2013, at least 1,135 people were killed and 1,169 were seriously injured and paralysed in the Rana Plaza collapse.
Leaders and activists of various labour organisations paid tribute at the temporary altar of "Protest-resistance martyrs" in memory of those killed in the Rana Plaza collapse.
They gathered in the Savar bus stand area today morning and brought out multiple rallies demanding justice for the incident. A photo exhibition was also organised depicting the ruins of the collapse.
