Suzuki Gixxer SF 2019

As latest models of vehicles are not instantly available for purchase upon release in Bangladesh, the economic sports module of the Japanese brand, Suzuki Gixxer SF 2019 is expected to be launched in Bangladesh by May, 2020.

The Suzuki Gixxer SF 2019 has been designed following the same design as of the Suzuki Gixxer SF 250. Even though the engine is the same, it has been through an extensive transformation as the segment had to be decreased to 154.9cc.

Like the 2018 model, this sports fairing version is also powered by a 4-stroke 154.9cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine. The new Gixxer SF 2019 weighs a total of 146kg – 6kg more than the previous version.

Some modifications have been implemented on the latest model and this will make the competition a bit more challenging for its competitors. Let us take a look at the new features.

The price of Suzuki Gixxer SF 2019 in India is INR1,10,605. The 2018 version was launched in Bangladesh at Tk2,59,950. Suzuki Bangladesh is currently offering cashback offers bringing down the price of Gixxer SF 2018 to Tk2,19,950 (Tk40,000 cashback) and Gixxer SF 2018 with FI Engine to BDT 2,39,950 (Tk40,000 cashback). The offer will last till January 31, 2020.

Renowned brands – Honda and Yamaha are among the top competitors of Suzuki in Bangladesh, however, none of these brands are offering motorbikes that fall under the same category as the Gixxer SF.

Suzuki Bangladesh is the only company that is offering a reasonable sports fairing motorbike at such a price range. Among the established brands, the Suzuki Gixxer SF 2019 might just be the only motorbike in Bangladesh's market that can fulfil the desires of sports bike enthusiasts.
