Honda City 2020: An admired sedan

The car market in Bangladesh has been strongly dominated by Toyota for decades. The last few years, however, experienced a different trend as buyers saw the influx of a wide range of four-wheeler brands and models. Among the line of car manufacturers that made its way into Bangladesh's market, Honda has been competing with Toyota in terms of sales value with its exemplary design and value for money.

Honda is predominantly known for manufacturing automobiles, motorcycles, and power equipment. Since its establishment in 1949, Honda Motor Company Ltd has risen to great heights by its face value world-wide and has become a multinational conglomerate. DHS Motors Ltd, Honda's official distributor in Bangladesh, have been selling Honda cars in Bangladesh for almost a decade now.

Among its line of sedans, the Honda City 2020 has caught the eye of many customers for its lavish design, superior performance, and affordability. Exterior Design
The design of this model is quite something to glare at because of its appealing outlook. The exterior curves along with sculpted lines which provide a bold and dynamic texture. Other thrilling beautifications are the 16-inch diamond cut alloy wheels, automatic and retractive side mirrors and a shark fin antenna which provides a seamless exterior and utilizes top level aerodynamic efficiency.

Honda City's lustrous LED headlights exude a top-notch appearance which is way ahead of its competitors. The LED lights give off an eye-catching highlight when lit despite consuming low energy. The LED on the rear also gives off a luminous red-tinged light, which can be easily spotted from a distance. Overall, the exterior of Honda City is designed to showcase a bold and luxurious figure for the onlookers. Image

The Cockpit

Honda always pursues easy to use "Advanced Interface" by employing modern and advanced technology. You can experience an ergonomic system with an asymmetrical dashboard in the cockpit with controls intuitively and cleverly placed at the center.
The asymmetrical dashboard is inspired from an airplane's cockpit. Additionally, the steering wheel provides multi-functional accessibility and the dials for displaying speed and RPM stats are illuminated.

Engine and Transmission
When it comes to mileage and seamless driving experience, Honda has always delivered. The Honda City consists of a 1.5L I-Dtec engine that provides great power and superior mileage. The engine runs on a low friction technology which ensures driving with outstanding efficiency.
Unlike other automatic cars, the gear in Honda City is a CVT which ensures the car's gear does not require to be shifted between gear positions. Rather, it has a straight gear shift. Furthermore, as power from the engine is continuously throttled among the tires, the drive is smooth and fast.

Safety
Honda City comes with a set of safety measures to ensure the owners have a safe and reliable experience on the road. The infrastructure of the car is built with a strong ACE™ Body structure which maintains integrity and safety from all sides. There are six airbags in total - two in the front, two on the side and two on the curtain. The airbags secure passengers from all angles in case the car collides.

Though it comes in seven colours, only Crystal Black Pearl and Lunar Silver Metallic are available in Bangladesh. The Honda City 2020 is available for purchase at DHS Motors Ltd at a price of Tk2,850,000.
