Every now and then a new social media platform pops up and takes the internet by storm. Tiktok is one of those platforms.

It has surpassed over two billion mobile downloads worldwide and has become a harbinger of internet trends. Most of the trends now usually originate from Tiktok instead of Twitter or Instagram.

Among the many trends going around Tiktok, the one that caught our attention was dermatologists and skin care specialists providing users with knowledge about skin care, effective products, apt medicines, and things which are absolutely 'no-no' for skin.

In this article, we are shedding light on some of those popular specialists so that whenever you tap on the icon of Tiktok, you can visit their profiles. We hope this will guide you on your quest to solve skin problems.

Dr Zion Ko Lamm

This certified Korean born US based internal medicine specialist can be the guardian angel for your skin.

In Tiktok, she is regularly exposing the common myths about skin care, suggesting the real game changing products and helping people to explore the Korean skin care world accurately.

For fun, she sometimes brings her youthful mother to her videos as well.

In South Korean culture, skin care is an important part of their life-style. That is probably why she so passionately solves all those issues related to your skin care regimen.

From dark circles to dark ankles, she provides top notch and proven suggestions while dancing around in her office. You would love her!

Vi Lai

Vi Lai is not exactly a dermatologist but her 60 second Tiktok clips definitely proves her role as a skin care icon.

This skin care enthusiast, popularly known as 'whatsonvisface' originally was working in the real estate industry in Massachusetts.

Out of her love for skin care, she first decided to create content for Instagram, but later found her comfort in Tiktok as well.

The interesting part of her clips is that she does not only talk about affordable drugstore staples but she speaks freely about her depression, anxiety and her experience of living in a Vietnamese family as well.

She talks about everything in a sarcastic and humorous tone but truly those advice are essential for both your skin's health and your mental health.

Even the Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez follows her, so you must check her out.

He achieved one million followers alone during the pandemic by creating exceptional skin savvy content. These videos resulted in saving people's money on unwanted products and investing on apt ones according to specific skin types.

In his TikTok clips, he reacts to mainstream and unique beauty hacks, corrects them or appreciates them, provides product reviews and also in-depth knowledge about particular chemical substances used in beauty products.

In many of his videos, he has discussed various types of acids which are essential to get a perfect skin care routine. Moreover, he seems like a humble person who happily discusses unique derma problems.

He often takes his passion for skin care to social media when he is not practising. The goal of his short clips is to educate the mass in an enjoyable, interactive, and easy-to-follow way.

He often utilises both his Instagram and TikTok accounts to show his followers things such as tips on acne removal, popular brands, how to incorporate products into your routine, and more.

This handsome dermatologist's skin care routine might level up your skin care game as well.

He seems like a creative and a positive individual who is making this platform resourceful by recommending the correct beauty products that our skin needs.

This Hawaiian boy will surely change your skin care regimen once you start watching his videos!
