On Eid, usually, people offer prayers and gather for a lavish feast later in the day with their friends and families. But this year, due to the outbreak of Covid-19, the Eid celebration might be different. Citizens are encouraged to avoid gatherings and celebrate this day with family at home. However, we can still make this occasion joyous by preparing a wonderful feast for our family and decorating our dining space in a new way to feel special.

The dining room is the hub of a house. This room is not just about a conventional table and two or three typical chairs. It is where a family sits together to break their daily Ramadan fast and to enjoy other meals while sharing the features of their day.

Thus, a change in this room can create a peaceful environment and give one a festive vibe - as if something exciting is about to happen. So, have you started to think about what kind of look and ambiance you want to create for your dining space on this Eid? If not, it is not yet too late as shops such as - Navana Furniture Ltd, Penthouse Living, Home.Works have all the solutions to make your vision comes true.

To foster a conversation, at first, one has to choose a dining table that looks welcoming and cozy to their family members. "From elegant to simple, we have several types of dining tables with diversified designs in our stock to satisfy our customers' desire," says the HR of Navana Furniture Ltd, Mehedi Akram. It has six main outlets and fifty franchise dealers' outlets all over Bangladesh to meet the need of the customers, he added.

No matter what size the room - the perfect shape of a table can create a little illusion of spaciousness. For example - a round table can make a room look more spacious and convenient for the diners to converse with each other. On the contrary, the square and oval shape tables suit better in big size room.

According to him, the four seated dining are the most demandable ones. But they have eight seated tables, moving tables, and side seated tables also. All these come in different shapes; round, square, oval, etc, and in various colors such as- walnut, mahogany, antique, and many more.

Besides, "Be it a big house or a small home with limited space, we have multiple options with different price ranges," said Mehedi. With the tables for dining starting from Tk10,000, there is something for everyone. Customers can purchase fixtures online and from outlets as well. The delivery service is free of cost in Dhaka city only.

But if you want to give an aristocratic look to their dining space, you can invest some money in outlandish chairs and can pair it up with a simple dark color table. Penthouse Livings offers exclusive dining chairs and tables that can transform any dining space.

"Be it a classic, contemporary or modern time-lapse design, we have a lot of varieties for our client," says Anisur Rahman, head of retail operations of Penthouse Livings. He added, "We have our architectural team.

Keeping clients' preferences in mind, this team helps them to choose a product which will go to other rooms also," Moreover, their customers have the opportunity to customize the measurement of any of their selected tables.

A room is incomplete without any decor. A beautiful decorative dining space can enhance the taste of a simple meal on your mind. Thus, one needs a few decorative elements to bring everything together. For example- a perfect chandelier or pendant above your head will make your dining room look more elegant. In this case, one has to pick a light which will match with the dining table, not the room itself.

Moreover, wall arts in the dining room play an important role as without it, the entire room lacks personality. Therefore, one can display any wall art that will combine the whole environment of the room.

Besides, to give the final touch and bring the dining room in life, a few decorative accessories are also necessary. Trays and bowls, cutleries, showpieces, candle holders, a centerpiece or vase on the table, artificial blossom plants, or maybe a plant or two- can make a dining space look interesting and inviting.

The good thing is most of these accessories are available in Penthouse Livings. They work with 18 global brands and import products from countries like the USA, Germany, etc. Thus, they claim each of their items is unique and luxurious.

Apart from them, you can also get decorative accessories like chandelier, lightings, wall art, paintings, cutleries with matching table mattresses, and decorative plants under one roof and that is - Home.Works. They even have a very limited dining table set.

According to them, they have unlimited options for their customers to turn their dining room into a lavish space. They prefer their customer to visit their store to shop as they maintain all the safety measures and hygiene. But their customer can also purchase from online. Home.Works provides free home delivery in Gulshan, Banani, and Baridhara area of Dhaka city.

However, less is often more. If a decorator is not careful, these items can overtake the room. Moreover, it is not always necessary to buy new things to give a festive look to our home. You can play around with the things that you already own and can create a difference in their rooms.
