The KSRM Football Tournament (KFT Season-2) concluded yesterday (22 February) in a vibrant atmosphere with KSL Fighters defeating Electro Elite 1-0 in a closely contested final.

The tournament, which began on 7 February at Halishahar KSRM Football Complex, featured 28 teams from various KSRM departments competing in 52 matches. The tournament progressed through group stages, knockout rounds, quarterfinals, and semifinals, culminating in the final and third-place playoff.

In the third-place match, Shockwave triumphed over defending champions Marketing Vikings with a 2-0 victory.

The final between KSL Fighters and Electro Elite showcased high levels of skill and talent, keeping the enthusiastic crowd on the edge of their seats with cheers, vuvuzela sounds, and tense excitement.

Throughout the tournament, an 11-member match management committee, along with their assistants, ensured smooth proceedings and encouraged the players. 

KSRM Deputy Managing Director Nabab Siraj Ud Daulla, along with Selim Uddin, Karim Uddin, Sarwar Jahan, and other senior officials, attended the final match.

Following the final whistle, prizes, medals, and cash awards were presented to the top three teams. 

Sajib of KSL Fighters was named the tournament's best player and top scorer, while Tarek of Shockwave received the best goalkeeper award.
