The Embassy of Bangladesh in Bangkok, in collaboration with Mrs Balbir's Cooking School, has organised a special culinary event to showcase Bangladeshi cuisine as part of its ongoing cultural diplomacy efforts.
Renowned Bangladeshi culinary expert and bestselling cookbook author Alpana Habib flew in from Dhaka to host the exclusive cooking class and buffet lunch.
The event drew a distinguished gathering of 36 culinary students and invited guests, including ambassadors from Mexico and Sri Lanka, diplomats from the Maldives, and the spouses of ambassadors from Chile, Italy, Myanmar, Nepal, New Zealand, and South Africa.
Food enthusiasts and local media celebrities also attended the event.

Alpana Habib captivated the audience with her masterful cooking skills, demonstrating how to prepare her signature dishes, including "Alomama'r Tehari," "Ghee Chop," and "Shahi Tukra."
Her unique cooking style and repertoire sparked considerable interest in Bangladeshi cuisine among the international guests.
Meanwhile, underscoring the event's diplomatic significance, Bangladesh's Ambassador to the Kingdom of Thailand Faiyaz Murshid Kazi, was also present.
