The drama 'Bakulpur', which is currently broadcasting in Deepto TV will air it's 200th episode today. The drama is directed by Kaysar Ahmed and written by Ahmed Shahabuddin. The characters include A Kha Ma Hasan, Tahmina Mou, Shyamol Mawla, Shabnam Faria, Anisur Rahman Milon, Arfan Ahmed, Tutul Chawdhury, Farzana Chobi, Nadia Ahmed, Shamima Tushti, Ahsanul Haque Minu, Sanjay Raj, etc.

The storyline depicts the incidents of Bakulpur village where a cold war is brewing between the Talukdar and Mandal families here. Montu of Mandal clan wants to bring Jatra to the village which is resisted by Jhoru Talukdar. He wants to encourage all the Talukdars to gang up and prevent this but becomes unable to do so. Jobbar Talukdar plays a silent role in this regard while Ghuddi Talukdar claims himself a critic of art and avoids the whole topic. So, Jhoru Talukdar fails to accomplish his goal every time.

Finally, Jatra comes to Bakulpur and the sound of cornet makes every night at Bakulpur enjoyable. Audience along with Teddy Talukdar falls in love with the dancer Princess Deeba. But on the last day of the Jatra, suddenly Princess Deeba disappears. Is she abducted? Or ran away? Everybody starts searching for her.
