Soybean oil prices rise Tk9 per liter
With the latest hike, traders will sell per liter Soybean oil at Tk153 which was available at Tk144.
The prices of soybean oil, one of the essential cooking materials of country, has witnessed a fresh price hike on Thursday imposing a major blow to the consumers amid coronavirus pandemic.
Prices of Soybean oil earlier went up before the Eid-ul-Fitr this month and witnesses latest hike on Thursday with Tk9, said a press statement of Bangladesh Vegetable Oil Refiners and Vanaspati Manufacturers Association.

The oil refining and distributors' association said that the association proposed for Tk13 hike while the Commerce Ministry approved Tk9 rise in per liter Soybean oil on Thursday.
With the latest hike, traders will sell per liter Soybean oil at Tk153 which was available at Tk144.
Five liters oil will be sold at Tk728 and open Soybean oil per liter will be available at Tk129 while prices of palm sugar oil went down to Tk112.
