UCB announces to leave National Housing by offloading its entire holding
United Commercial Bank (UCB) has announced that it will leave National Housing Finance ownership by selling its entire holdings.
According to the price sensitive information filed on the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) today (24 July), UCB, also the sponsor of National Housing, will sell 56.35 lakh shares of National Housing within the next 30 working days in the secondary or block market of the DSE.
Following the announcement, National Housing shares rose by 0.37% to close at Tk26.90 in the first 30 minutes of today's trading session.
