Eastern Bank sees 11% profit growth in Apr–Jun quarter

Eastern Bank has posted an 11% year-on-year increase in its consolidated net profit for the second quarter of this year.
According to a statement published on the bank's website today (28 July), the consolidated earnings per share (EPS) rose to Tk1.23 in the April–June quarter, up from Tk1.11 in the same period last year.
For the first half of the year, the bank's consolidated EPS stood at Tk2.20, marking a 9% increase compared to the same period in the previous year.
As of the end of June, the bank's consolidated net asset value per share stood at Tk27.71.
