DSE turnover fell by 20% on Sunday
Turnover at the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) fell by 20% as stocks witnessed selling pressure during the whole trading session on Sunday while the DSEX, the benchmark index, fell by 9 points to settle at 6263 points.
On Sunday, DSE's turnover stood at Tk636.49 crore, which was Tk798.56 crore in the previous trading session on Thursday.
DSE Shariah index fell by 3 points to settle at 1368 points and DS-30, the blue-chip index, dropped by 4 points to settle at 2190 points.

Out of the trades stocks, 54 scrips advanced, 103 declined, and 186 scrips remained unchanged.
Trust Islami Life Insurance, the newly listed firm on the stock market was the top gainer list, its shares price gained by 10% to Tk12.10 each, followed by Emerald Oil Industries by 9.97% to Tk76.1, and Tamijuddin Textile Mills by 9.75% to Tk217.2 each.
GBB Power's shares were the top losers on the list, its shares price declined by 9.55% to Tk16.1 each, followed by Sea Pearl Beach Resort and Spa by 8.70% to Tk192.9 each, and Gemini Sea Foods by 7.49% to Tk843.7 each.
